The post to start all posts

How do you talk about things on a blog without jumping right in? I guess I could make a blog post about what I plan to blog about ... maybe that is what this post will be. I have decided that along with the everyday life of the ever-adventurous Combes (suuure) that there are some other things that I would like to cover (I totally copied the list idea from my old friend Brookes [thanks] blog ... check her out ... hilarious ... always a good read):

1. Cooking - because I love it ... and I try to make a new recipe from pinterest everyday
2. Crafts - because I still get bored ... even with a four year old.
3. Divorce - because I've been there 
4. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormon/lds) - because I am there
5. Being a step-mom - because I am there too and it is not as easy as you would think
6. Pornography - because it has had an impact in my life in many ways ... and I want people to be informed about how negative it really is

 So there you have it. My dynamic list from this simple blog. I wouldn't say that I have one of the hardest lives there is to have ... we always had food on the table and a roof over our heads ... but if my experiences that I have had can change even one persons life for the better then I think that I will forever be satisfied.
